PATCHWORK HOOK

Interesting technology of knitting – patchwork hook by means of which it is possible to create beautiful knitted cloth. The equipment patchwork consists in knitting of cloth from separate squares. Each number of squares has opposite direction, the original geometric design at the expense of play of light and shadows thereby is shown.

The technology of knitting of this pattern hook is quite simple and consists of serial vyvyazyvaniye of squares from lower to upper row without thread breakage.

You can determine the size of squares in pattern, on example width of square makes 20 loops. To start knitting it is necessary to gather chain of air loops on product width (for example for three squares) +1 loop on corner + 20 loops on square height + 1 air loop of rise = 82 air loops.

The first row for the first square: would knit on chain of air loops of 19 St, the following 3 St would knit together with one top, thereby creating corner of square, 19 St/N.

2nd number of square: Knit in the opposite direction on the previous number of columns, hereinafter enter hook only for back semi-loop, for receiving relief pattern into scar.

Gather one air loop of rise, 18 St/N, 3 St/N together, 18 St/N.

3rd number of square: 1 vozd.p. rise, 17 St/N, 3 St/N together, 17 St/N.

4th row: 1 vozd.p., 16 St/N, 3 St/N together, 16 St/N. Further knit square do not provyazhit the last 3 columns together yet.

To start knitting of the second square the first row would knit on lateral face of the first square of 19 St, 3 St/N together in corner in the beginning, then on chain of 19 St/N. Further knit as the first square from the 2nd row.

Continue to knit squares, carrying out following as previous in turn on width of desirable cloth which you have calculated, having gathered initial chain of loops.

For transition to knitting of the second row of squares to height from corner of the last square gather chain from 21 vozd. item (20 loops square width + 1 vozd.p. rise) also knit the first row for square.

1st row: 19 St/N on vozd.tsepochka, 3 St/N together (enter hook in remained vozd.p. chains, in corner of the last square, on lateral face of square, provyazhit the extended loops together for once), further 19 St/N on the upper party of the last square. Continue to knit square as all previous from the 2nd row, gradually diminishing quantity of loops.

The following square would knit the first row on lateral face of the last square of 19 St, 3 St/N together at the corner, 19 St/N on the upper party of nizlezhashchy square.

All subsequent squares knit, as previous, on cloth width. In this number of decrease which form corner, are sent to other party, thereby shading pattern.

Having finished the second row of squares, turn work and for the third row of squares gather chain from 21 vozd. loops also continue to repeat all actions as in knitting of squares of the second row. Knit so many ranks of squares until the cloth reaches desirable height.

The received cloth with relief pattern and the original drawing which is poured on light well will be suitable for knitting of skirt, dress, jacket or bag.
