Knitting by flower spokes – roses does not demand special skill and is available to the even beginning needlewomen. This volume flower will perfectly look as ornament on hat, jacket or jacket instead of brooch, on knitted handbag, as decorative element on any knitted product.
The flower forms from simple knitted strip. Gather on spokes of 12 loops and knit strip front smooth surface 50-70 cm long.
Define place on product where the flower will be located. Draw circle the washed-away marker, slice of soap or chalk. Diameter of circle has to be 6-7 cm.
Note the center of circle and five points in the area of circle through equal intervals, for this purpose it is possible to draw star in circle.
Now pass thread in darning needle and make stitches from noted five points on circle to the center. For this purpose fix thread on wrong side, bring needle through the first point to upper side and stick needle in the center of circle, having made the first stitch. Then bring needle to upper side through the second point on circle and also stick needle in the center. Make consistently five stitches, they should not pull together knitted cloth and in too time should not be too free.
Sew the end of the connected strip to the center several imperceptible stitches.
We start creating rosette. For this purpose bind knitted strip through stitches through one.
Having taken 3-4 detours of petals when the strip ends, fix its end several stitches to knitted cloth.

By the same principle it is possible to make rosette of two knitted cords. The pattern of petals of rosette reminds the overwound braid. The flower can be carried out any size depending on the planned circle and length of laces.
Connect 2 laces 50-70 cm long. Cords knit on two spokes, having gathered 4 loops – the description of knitting look here.
On the lined circle make 8 stitches, having divided circle into eight equal segments.
Sew the ends of cords to the center of circle.
Now start creating rosette, serially passing cords under stitches through one and at the same time overwinding them among themselves.
Carry out ranks of petals, length of cords will not end yet, then fix their ends.
