At set of loops in such a way receive accurate dense edge with reinforced edge. This way is applied to strengthening of edge in easy jackets, short sleeves, knitting of products from mohair.
In the beginning the thread is put in 3 additions (the put thread has to be 3 - 4 times longer than the knitted cloth).
Thread have on fingers of the left hand as at classical set of loops, outlining the put thread on thumb. Two spokes enter into loop of the put thread and press forefinger of the right hand.
Then spokes bring under reinforced thread on thumb.
Take thread from forefinger,
we stretch it and we throw off reinforced thread from thumb, we tighten the first loop of initial row.
Again we pick up thumb the put threads, we enter spokes under reinforced thread on thumb.
We take the thread going from forefinger and we extend the second loop.
Further, holding with forefinger of the right hand the gathered loops, we continue set of loops in the usual way.
Having gathered necessary quantity of loops, we receive shnuroobrazny reinforced edge and we continue knitting of the first row by the chosen pattern.
