CHILDREN'S PLAID SPOKES FROM MOTIVES

The bright children's plaid is connected by spokesfrom square motives with relief pattern. Motives match chulochny spokes from outer edge to the center alternation of front and back smooth surface, thus it turns out the convex strips forming volume geometrical pattern.

Knitting of small children's plaid in carriage of 50 x 50 cm in size required 2 and a quarter hanks of yarn of Alize (children's acryle), chulochny spokes No. 2,5 – 5 pieces. The melange bright coloring of yarn favourably emphasizes pattern of motives.

For the center of plaid the big square is connected, it is twice wider than small motives. For knitting of big square on 4 chulochny spokes gather on 40 loops (only 160 loops), close them in ring and knit around, alternating 4 rows front loops, 4 rows back loops. In every 2nd row at the end of each spoke do decrease on 1 loop, provyazyvy two last loops from each spoke together front or back on drawing. When on spokes there are only 8 loops, cut off working thread. Pass through tip of piece hook through the remained loops and fix it in ring.

Small squares match similarly big, but on smaller quantity of loops. Gather on 4 spokes on 20 loops (only 80 loops), close them in ring and knit, alternating 4 rows front smooth surface, 4 rows of the back. Also in every second row diminish loops, provyazyvy together on drawing the last 2 loops from each spoke.

Connect necessary amount of motives. Small squares knit, selecting color transition of yarn, so they turn out two different coloring.

The connected square because of relief pattern does not hold form. For giving to the connected motives of square form humidify them, stretch on fabric surface and fix on corners pins. When motives dry it is possible to start them to sew in uniform cloth.

Plaid from the sewed motives tie with level of platochny knitting. For this purpose gather 15 loops on spoke and in addition extend one loop on spoke from selvage loop of edge of plaid. Turn work the first two loops knit together front, the others as usual the front. In the following row provyazhit all loops front and again extend from edge of plaid new loop on spoke. Further knit, repeating the first and second row to cloth corner.

To knit corner of level do the truncated ranks. Provyazhite row front to inner edge of 14 loops, round the 15th wrap working thread, turn work and knit row back. In the following row provyazhit 13 loops and round the 14th wrap working thread, having turned work, knit back. So continue do not provyazhit 1 loop yet, round the 2nd wrap working thread, turn work and 1 persons. The wedge is formed.

Now knit the truncated ranks, gradually adding on the 1st loop in each row.

Having tied with plaid with level around, sew its beginning and the end.
