KNITTING OF CAP SPOKES

The scheme of knitting of pattern for this female hat is taken from the descriptionof scarf with magnificent interlacings.Knitting of capis similar to the description of knittingof hat with cross braid here. The main part of cap matches wide strip interlacings where width is the height of crown of cap (15-17 cm), and strip length – circumference (50-56 cm).

For knitting it will be required 100 gr bi-fiber yarn (300m/100gr); on example YarnArt Legend yarn is used (25% wool, 65% acryle, 10% viscose); circular spokes No. 4,5; 1 the short spoke No. 4,5, darning needle is additional.

Description of knitting of cap spokes:

Strip with interlacings knit as scarf. Gather on spokes of 80 loops (72 loops for 3 rapports of pattern and 8 loops for registration of edges of strip). The first and last 4 loops knit platochny knitting: in front and back ranks only front loops.

On the central 72 loops knit elastic band 2х2 (2 front, 2 back on drawing). Through 9 rows on the central 24 loops make interlacing. For this purpose on additional spoke remove 12 loops, arrange them behind work, provyazhit the following 12 loops, then loops from additional spoke.

Through 9 rows do interlacings on the first and last 24 loops. Remove the first 12 loops on additional spoke, arrange them before work, provyazhit the following 12 loops, then loops from additional spoke.

Knit pattern with interlacings, carrying out them that in the center, at the edges, through each 9 rows so far the strip will not reach length to the taken measurements on circumference. Having finished, close loops.

For knitting of the top gather on the long party of loop, knit elastic band 2х2 eight rows.

In ninth row provyazhit each 2 loops together, 2 front – front, 2 back – back. Connect elastic band of 1х1 4 more rows. In fifth row provyazhit on two loops together, alternating two loops of one front, two loops of one back.

Cut off thread, having left long tip, pass it in darning needle. Pull together loops, having stretched thread piece, through the remained loops, having removed them from spoke. Execute back seam of hat.
