KNITTING OF MITTENS FROM FINGER TIPS

Knitting of mittens spokes from finger tips is excellent way to receive the accurate rounded-off stupid top of mitten. This method differs in peculiar set of loops which is also applied to knitting of socks from finger tips.
Knitting of mittens required 100 gr yarn (100m/100gr), set of chulochny spokes No. 4.
Width of palm is 8 cm, length is 17 cm.

The set of loops requires 2 spokes which in parallel hold in the right hand. Make initial loop, having left the small end of thread for set of loops and put on its second spoke from yourself. The ends of threads arrange in the left hand as at classical set of loops.

Start twisting with spoke threads serially: for the first loop thread from forefinger – the first spoke, thread from thumb – the second spoke, in the same direction.

So serially gather equal quantity of loops on both spokes which has to equal to width of three main fingers at palm.

Having finished set, take both spokes in the lefthand, overwind the ends of threads and holding the free end knit loops front around, in the beginning from the first spoke, then with the second, two circular rows.

In the 3rd row start doing additions. For this purpose pick up the right spoke sideways eyelet of the previous row, put on it spoke and provyazhit together with all.

Provyazav the last loop from spoke, the left spoke pick up sideways one more loop of the previous row and also provyazhit it front.

Passing around to knitting of loops on the second spoke, also before the first loop pick up loop of the previous row and after the last lift one more loop. Thus, in each circular row 4 loops increase.

Repeat additions in 2 circular rows on each side and distribute loops equally on 4 spokes.

Further continue to knit around without additions, width of knitting has to equal to width of your palm.

Dovyazav to the thumb basis, leave some loops, having removed them on pin, and over them gather 5 air loops and continue knitting around to the palm basis.

Then knit mitten cuff elastic band 1 x 1 (1 loop front, 1 back). Dovyazav cuff to desirable length, close loops, it is necessary to finish knitting of thumb. For this purpose transfer the left loops to spoke, gather on the basis and on each side loop openings on 2 additional spokes and knit in length to the middle of nail of thumb. Then do decreases on each spoke: remove the first loop, provyazhit the second front and stretch it through the removed; the last two loops from spoke provyazhit together the front. When on spokes there is minimum quantity of loops, cut off thread, hook stretch thread tip through loops, pull together them and on seamy side fix.
The second mitten matches also, with the only exception of loop for finger are left on the other hand.

Mittens are ready, it is possible to be engaged in their ornament.
