STRIPED MITTENS HOOK

Description of knitting of mittens hook:

The mitten consists of two details: the first detail on back part of palm matches pattern from semi-columns, carrying out additions and decreases according to the scheme, at mitten length, and the second from internal part matches opening for thumb.

The scheme of knitting of pattern, on chain of air loops of any length – from the central Pearlie matches three semi-columns, extreme two semi-columns match together, one top. Begin each row with two air loops.

Gather chain of air loops on palm width + 2 air loops of rise and knit the first row semi-columns according to the scheme. For receiving relief knitting, knit always for back to floor eyelet of the previous row. Having finished the first row, attach new thread of other color, gather two air loops of rise and knit the second and third row according to the scheme, then again replace thread, having stretched on edge the left thread from the first row, further change thread each two rows.
