STRIPED RUG WITH FRINGE

The striped rug matches hook in technology of the Bosnian knitting fringe. This method of knitting is that the cloth matches connecting columns, them still call semi-columns without nakid, it is the shortest column.

For knitting of rug the cheap acrylic yarn of two contrast colors and thick hook is used. The rug is better to knit from thick yarn or two thread.

In the beginning gather initial chain of air loops equal to rug width, having finished, cut off working thread and fix it.

Before knitting of new row make initial loop on hook, having left tail 5-7 loops long.

For knitting of the first column enter hook into the first loop of row, take working thread and provyazhit the first connecting column.

Further continue to knit connecting columns on row, entering hook for back semi-loops of columns of the previous row.

Having stopped knitting row, cut off working thread, having left piece of 5-7 cm, and fix the last loop, having stretched through it the cut-off thread. Tails of threads at the beginning and at the end of row will create fringe of rug on each side.

Each row begin with forming of initial loop on hook and provyazyvayta connecting columns on upper side of rug. Alternate color of thread in knitting through each two rows.

As knitting of ranks becomes only on upper side in one direction, the cloth through some ranks starts being mown to the right side therefore through each 3-4 rows new row start knitting with the second loop and at the end to provyazyvayta is one loop farther, thereby shifting knitting on one loop to the left.

Knit rug of any length if you have enough yarn, the long path can turn out. At the connected rug straighten fringe with scissors that the left ends of threads were one length.

The connected cloth for rug in this equipment has equal dense surface, it is not twisted and not rumpled. The bright striped rug with fluffy fringe can be put on floor at entrance, in bathroom or about bed.
