For knitting of summer hats with big fields select spun cotton. To give to hat the necessary form and rigidity it is possible in several ways: to starch, nazhelatinit, get involved on edge of fields scaffold, wire or regilin. But there is simpler decision is gluing hat PVA glue for what it is not required to make starch or gelatin.
It will be required to you: 150 gr the Semenovsky yarn of Kable (100% cotton, 430m/100gr), hook No. 2, glue PVA 100ml, big plastic large bottle, the sheet of polyfoam and pin. Knit hat according to the scheme.
For giving of hat of the necessary form, it is necessary to prepare framework on which it will be possible to stretch and dry up hat. For this purpose we will cut off plastic large bottle on depth of hat and we will arrange it in the polyfoam center of the sheet (it is possible to use leaf of cardboard or other material on which it is possible to fix brim, previously having covered it with polyethylene).
We dissolve PVA glue about 100 ml on 100 ml of water and we soak the connected hat in this solution. Then having slightly wrung out, we stretch it on the prepared framework and we fix fields pins.
When the hat well dries out, carefully release it, and you will see that it perfectly holds form. Decorate hat with flower, bow or tape and magnificent protection against the sun is ready.
